Care Support Worker in the Children's Emergency Department
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Care Support Worker to join our team in the Children's Emergency Department at The John Radcliffe Hospital. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals.
Main Duties
- Assist qualified staff in the implementation of patient care programmes
- Develop towards assisting the registered nurse in the planning of patient care
- Carry out a range of patient care tasks in support of and supervised by a registered nurse
- Record information detailing patient care given, under supervision of registered nurse
- Monitor and maintain equipment and environment of the unit, under supervision of registered nurse
- In conjunction with the registered nurse provide support to more junior colleagues
