Bank Care Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients in our hospitals and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
- Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Ensure that patients are the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.
- Assist patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living, while ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.
- Minimum of 6 months Community HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years.
- OR Currently studying General/Adult Nursing (Student Nurse) and completed a minimum of 12 weeks clinical placements.

- All Care support worker roles will be required to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification.
- Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements.
- Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation.
- QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011.
- QCF Level 2 OR above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued after 2011.
- QCF Level 3 OR above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued after 2011 (For Paediatric & Maternity roles only).
- Degree /Diploma in Nursing and currently do not have an NMC Registration.
