Job Title: PRU Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PRU Teaching Assistant to join our team at Qualiteach Ltd.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who require additional support in a challenging but rewarding environment.

As a PRU Teaching Assistant, you will be working with students across KS3 and KS4 who have struggled to remain in mainstream education.

The needs of the students at this site can be complex, so the ideal candidate will have prior experience of supporting within a Pupil Referral Unit or a SEMH school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with their academic and personal development
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure student progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Strong behavior management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
