About the Role

Kennedys is seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Administrator to join our Financial team based in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Financial Operations team to provide a comprehensive and efficient service to internal and external clients, ensuring the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the credit control team by reviewing aged debt lists, identifying bills for chase, and ensuring timely contact with debtors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of statements and reminder letters to debtors.
  • Update and maintain the credit control database with current activity summaries.
  • Provide administrative support to the billing, database, and cashiering teams as needed.
  • Work closely with credit controllers to increase collections and provide administrative support.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a finance environment is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Recent experience in Excel is required, with daily work carried out using Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
