Head of Apprenticeship Programmes Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Apprenticeship Programmes at our client's location in the Lake District area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of the Apprenticeship contract for all L2 and L3 Nuclear Apprenticeship Programmes, as well as providing additional courses and support services.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of £49,995 per annum, plus a pension and holiday allowance. The successful candidate will also have access to a discretionary relocation package of up to £2,500 to cover property deposit, moving costs, etc.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage operational aspects of the Apprenticeship contract for all L2 and L3 Nuclear Apprenticeship Programmes
  2. Provide additional courses and support services
  3. Oversee teaching and training staff
  4. Develop and implement curriculum design, delivery, assessment and evaluation strategies

Requirements

  • A level 3 Engineering qualification
  • A teaching qualification
  • Extensive engineering education experience
  • Experience in post 16 education/training including curriculum design, delivery, assessment and evaluation
