NHS Mental Health Research Nurse

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered Mental Health nurse to join our Research & Innovation Service at Mersey Care. The postholder will have a specialist knowledge in research and/or clinical practice enabling them to work independently.
The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient set up and delivery of research in our Early Intervention Service, working closely with senior nurses and multidisciplinary teams within the Trust and wider research teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assisting in the management of a caseload of clinical trial patients, whilst working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and maintaining effective communication with patients, carers, and professionals.
- Supporting Early intervention teams with assessment of new service users and identifying suitable patients for entry into clinical studies.
- Managing and overseeing a portfolio of research studies in various disease sites and training and assessing research staff as competent in line with the research competencies framework.
