PMLD Support Assistant Job Description

Ribbons & Reeves is assisting a Special Needs School in Ealing, London, to find a dedicated graduate to support their learners with PMLD throughout the school day as a PMLD Support Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) in a SEND School
  • Work closely with Special Needs Specialists, Therapists, and Special Needs Coordinators
  • Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Safeguard and support the wellbeing of all pupils

Requirements:

  • Obtained a minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology/Criminology from a Top 20 UK University
  • Ideal experience working with children
  • Long-term career goals in Clinical or Educational Psychology
