Area Business Development Manager

This challenging role requires a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth in the North East region. As an Area Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver results.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction market in the North East region, with a proven track record in sales or business development. Experience in the fenestration industry is highly desirable, as is knowledge of company windows products and strong commercial acumen.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities in the North East region
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, specifiers, main contractors, and other industry professionals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of products and services
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the construction market in the North East region
- Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably within the fenestration industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a focus on achieving sales targets
What We Offer
- Salary: £60,000 per annum
- Quarterly sales incentive programme (results-oriented targets) - maximum 40% paid quarterly, and individual targets - maximum 10% paid annually
- Vehicle allowance: £663 per month
- Broadband: £15 per month
- Access to enhanced pension scheme (min 3% EE & 6% employer contribution)
