Social Worker - Safeguarding Team in Kingston

We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our clients Safeguarding Team in Kingston.

  • A competitive salary of £39,951-£40,614 or £46,041-£49,083 for Senior Social Workers, with a starting salary of £39,951

  • 29 days' annual leave, increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years, plus bank holidays

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertake complex safeguarding investigations and assessments
  • Develop and implement effective care plans
  • Work closely with families to promote their well-being
  • Represent the organisation in court proceedings
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff

Requirements:

  • A Social Work qualification (Degree or Diploma)
  • Significant experience in child protection work
  • Strong assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
