Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Job Summary: Kenton Black Finance is delighted to represent a successful and friendly professional business in the Chester area, seeking a Payroll Administrator to work within a small and stable payroll bureau team. The successful candidate will possess strong payroll processing skills and a proactive approach to resolving queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll processing from end to end for various payrolls, including weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and 4-weekly payrolls.
  • Processing of BACS payments and dealing with auto-enrolment pension processing (i.e., Nest).
  • RTI filing and dealing with SMP/SSP.
  • P45/P46 processing and dealing with queries and providing services advice.
  • Software knowledge of Brightpay & Iris (desirable, with training provided).

Person Specification:

  • Payroll processing end to end with experience of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls.
  • Ability to pick up new systems and processes efficiently and with ease.
  • Proactive and innovative approach to resolving queries.
  • Confident and friendly communication/telephone manner.
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
