Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Job Summary: Kenton Black Finance is delighted to represent a successful and friendly professional business in the Chester area, seeking a Payroll Administrator to work within a small and stable payroll bureau team. The successful candidate will possess strong payroll processing skills and a proactive approach to resolving queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll processing from end to end for various payrolls, including weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and 4-weekly payrolls.
- Processing of BACS payments and dealing with auto-enrolment pension processing (i.e., Nest).
- RTI filing and dealing with SMP/SSP.
- P45/P46 processing and dealing with queries and providing services advice.
- Software knowledge of Brightpay & Iris (desirable, with training provided).
Person Specification:
- Payroll processing end to end with experience of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls.
- Ability to pick up new systems and processes efficiently and with ease.
- Proactive and innovative approach to resolving queries.
- Confident and friendly communication/telephone manner.
- Previous experience within a similar role.
