Job Overview: Temporary Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Assistant to join our team at 2i Recruit Ltd. As an Apprentice HR Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative support to the HR department, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  2. Update Excel spreadsheets and maintain accurate records.
  3. Prepare HR correspondence, including letters and reports.
  4. Conduct reference checks and verify employee information.
  5. Handle HR compliance tasks, including ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  6. Assist the HR Manager with general duties, such as managing calendars and coordinating meetings.
  7. Manage calendar invites and schedule appointments.
  8. Support with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Experience and Skills Requirements:
  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with internal teams and external contacts.
  2. A good eye for detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.
  3. Comfortable working as part of a team and offering support where needed, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  4. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and an ability to quickly pick up new systems.
  5. Prior experience in an administrative role is desirable, but not necessary.
