Companionship Opportunity in Banbury

We are seeking a kind-hearted individual to provide companionship to someone we support in Banbury. As a Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer, you will play a vital role in enhancing their life by spending quality time together.

Your visits may include chatting over a cup of tea, reading books, playing board games, or engaging in other activities they enjoy. We value your ability to be empathetic, friendly, and punctual, as well as your willingness to learn about our data protection and confidentiality procedures.

About the Role
  • This is a flexible opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life.
  • You will have the chance to develop new skills through training provided by SeeAbility.

The ideal candidate will be 18 years or older and able to commit to regular visits. A DBS check and two satisfactory references will be required prior to confirmation of the volunteer role. You will also undergo safeguarding training specific to the position.
