About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Network Rail as an Administrative Support Specialist, providing high-quality administrative support to the line manager and contributing to the smooth operation of the Section.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administration of rosters and timesheets, ensuring accurate and timely updates.

2. Maintaining and updating systems, databases, and records, including opening and closing works orders as directed.

3. Supporting the administration of the Assessment in The Line process, ensuring efficient and effective management.

4. Establishing and maintaining efficient filing systems, prioritizing confidentiality and safety-critical documents.

5. Undertaking general office administration duties, utilizing a range of skills and knowledge to provide exceptional support to the Section Manager.

6. Providing support and assistance to other Section Administrator positions as required.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in clerical support and office management.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of relevant IT systems and software.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with the operational railway environment and industry-specific systems.
