Shift Engineer Wanted - Brynmawr

The Sterling Choice is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team in South Wales. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in driving innovation and powering our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform planned and reactive maintenance across the site to ensure optimal production efficiency.
  2. Maximize the efficiency of machinery and ensure production targets are met.
  3. Keep detailed records of your work and ensure compliance with all relevant safety and engineering standards.
  4. Collaborate with the wider engineering and production teams to maintain a smooth operation.

Requirements:

  1. Time-served engineer with a Level 3 BTEC qualification (mechanical or electrical). HNC/HND is a bonus.
  2. Background in food manufacturing is a plus.
  3. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, particularly in an engineering environment.
  4. Fully computer literate, with experience in maintenance management systems.
