Shift Engineer Wanted - Brynmawr

The Sterling Choice is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team in South Wales. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in driving innovation and powering our business forward.

Our ideal candidate will have a time-served background in engineering, with a Level 3 BTEC qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering. Experience in food manufacturing is a plus, as is knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in an engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and execute maintenance activities across the site to ensure optimal equipment performance and production targets are met.
  2. Maximize machinery efficiency and collaborate with the engineering and production teams to maintain a smooth operation.
  3. Keep accurate records of work and ensure compliance with relevant safety and engineering standards.
