Shift Engineer Wanted - Brynmawr

The Sterling Choice is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team in Brynmawr. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance across the site to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure production targets are met and machinery is running at optimal levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure compliance with all relevant safety and engineering standards.
  • Work closely with the wider engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
Requirements:
  • Time-served engineer with a Level 3 BTEC qualification (mechanical or electrical) and a strong background in food manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, particularly in an engineering environment.
  • Fully computer literate, with experience using maintenance management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
