Job Summary:

About the Role:
This role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with liver disease. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various liver conditions, including cirrhosis, liver cancer, and autoimmune liver disease.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement best practices and improve patient outcomes. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in research and educational activities, including teaching medical students and junior doctors.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with liver disease
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
* Participate in research and educational activities, including teaching medical students and junior doctors
* Work collaboratively with other consultants, doctors, and healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree
* MRCP or equivalent certification in gastroenterology and hepatology
* MD or PhD in relevant field (optional)
* Full registration with GMC and name on specialist register on date of taking up appointment
