We are seeking an experienced Applied and Regulated Development scientist to join our Applied and Regulated Development team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing products for clinical applications.
- Experience in molecular biology, including NGS, PCR, qPCR, isothermal amplification and standard nucleic acid handling techniques.
- Assay design, development, and optimisation expertise.
- Familiarity with quality management systems.
- BSL organism handling and cell culture experience.
- Preparation workflow development, optimisation, and verification.
- Development of biochemical and biophysical assays.
- New component testing and optimisation prior to release.
- Nanopore sequencing device operation and associated software.
- Data analysis from basic manipulation to complex bioinformatic pipelines.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in physical, chemical or biological sciences and have experience working in a development team. Training will be provided, and a willingness to learn and develop is essential.
