The sequencing platform offers real-time analysis in fully scalable formats from pocket to population scale, analyzing native DNA or RNA and sequencing any length of fragment. Our goal is to enable the analysis of any living thing by anyone, anywhere.

We are seeking an experienced Applied and Regulated Development scientist to join our Applied and Regulated Development team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing products for clinical applications.

  • Experience in molecular biology, including NGS, PCR, qPCR, isothermal amplification and standard nucleic acid handling techniques.
  • Assay design, development, and optimisation expertise.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems.
  • BSL organism handling and cell culture experience.
  • Preparation workflow development, optimisation, and verification.
  • Development of biochemical and biophysical assays.
  • New component testing and optimisation prior to release.
  • Nanopore sequencing device operation and associated software.
  • Data analysis from basic manipulation to complex bioinformatic pipelines.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in physical, chemical or biological sciences and have experience working in a development team. Training will be provided, and a willingness to learn and develop is essential.
