Job Description

Oxford Nanopore Technologies is a leading company in the development of innovative sequencing technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Development Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a suitable scientific subject and relevant lab-based skills and experience. The role involves working within a team tasked with improving and preparing new platforms or updates of existing Oxford Nanopore platforms for release into production.

This includes running pilot production lines of new sequencing platforms to prepare for release into production, identifying areas of improvement on new developments, and addressing these areas prior to releasing the product to the production team.

We expect a competitive salary in the range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a dynamic and supportive work environment.
