Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology Team at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality pathology services and contributing to the development of new diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality pathology services, including diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting, through to quality control.
  • Keep accurate records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
  • Support the organisation in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

  • Registration with the HCPC and relevant laboratory experience in Haematology or Biochemistry.
  • Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques.
  • Excellent communication and team player skills.
  • Ability to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
