As a Senior Biomedical Scientist at Nuffield Health, you will bring your relevant qualifications and extensive laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. Your proficiency with various analytical instruments across multiple techniques will be invaluable. You will also be an effective communicator and a collaborative team member, sharing our commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality pathology services and participate in on-call coverage outside regular hours.
- Conduct biomedical diagnostic testing, including interpretation and reporting, alongside quality control measures.
- Assist in the validation and evaluation of new equipment and the development of innovative diagnostic procedures, contributing to our mission of delivering the best possible patient experience.
Qualifications Required:
- HCPC registration is mandatory.
- MSc in Biomedical Science (or equivalent qualifications/experience).
- Extensive laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science, with a strong focus on Haematology and Blood Transfusion.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various analytical instruments across a range of techniques.
- A keen understanding of the importance of maintaining excellent customer relationships and providing high-quality service in a modern pathology setting.
- A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
