Data Centre Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Facilities Manager to join our team at Amazon Data Services UK Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centres, providing exceptional customer service, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all data centres, identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing technical and leadership expertise to ensure high levels of performance and staff readiness for any situation.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain existing operational data centres to the highest level of availability, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve all processes and procedures, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to drive positive outcomes.
- Vendor Management: Assist in managing relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution.
- Metrics and Reporting: Create and maintain metrics on all aspects of data centre operations, utilizing data to drive informed decision-making and process improvements.
