Business Acquisition Director

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially experienced business leader to join a highly regarded, industry-renowned company with a strong track record of growth. The company manufactures and markets a diverse range of products, requiring detailed and innovative commercial leadership to ensure continued success.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the appointee will be responsible for all strategic and commercial aspects of the Advanced Materials Division, including the identification, development, and commercialisation of high-value niche products. With full P&L responsibility, the appointee will be given substantial autonomy to manage and grow the business, both organically and through potential acquisitions.
Candidates should demonstrate a track record of inspirational commercial leadership, strategic thinking, and collaborative teamwork. Experienced in small business leadership, the appointee will demonstrate drive, tenacity, and financial awareness, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive business growth
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as Science, Engineering, or a technical discipline, and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the Advanced Materials sector.
