Business Acquisition Director

Key Responsibilities:
The appointee will be responsible for the worldwide commercial activity of the company's range of Rubber Chemicals and Bonding Agents through both direct and indirect sales channels and the delivery of increased profitability through the day-to-day management of product pricing, whilst supporting cost control and new product development.

The company has ambitious plans for further growth including overseas manufacturing and targeted acquisitions. The appointee will collaborate closely with all areas of the business to ensure common purpose and a coordinated approach.
Requirements:
Candidates, ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent in a science or technical discipline, should demonstrate a track record of strong commercial experience, the ability to contribute strategically, strong teamwork, a high level of integrity and a desire to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
With a demonstrable track record of customer care and relationship-building, along with the development and successful closure of new business opportunities, the appointee will demonstrate drive, tenacity, 'presence' and strong financial awareness coupled with exemplary communication & presentation skills. Listening, influencing and negotiation will all be key competencies along with strong analysis and decision-making skills and a positive, enthusiastic outlook which will offer future opportunity as success is delivered.
