Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Reporting Accountant - Onshore, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial information and maintaining effective financial controls for the SG Hambros Group. This will involve working closely with the existing onshore finance team to ensure a smooth transition of financial close tasks from the former offshore team. You will also be responsible for liaising with the group auditors to ensure the timely delivery of audited statutory accounts.

Accounting and Financial Reporting

The Financial Accounting team is responsible for statutory and group reporting, as well as the integrity of the balance sheet and P&L used by other teams on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. You will be working closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely financial information production.

Additional Responsibilities

You will also be responsible for coordinating with other stakeholders to ensure the provision of quality information within strict deadlines, responding to queries as they arise, and escalating issues as they require assistance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and financial reporting skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
