About the Role

This 6-month interim position requires an experienced Accountant to prepare intercompany journals and monthly reconciliations, as well as draft Group Management Accounts and Cash Flow statements for review by the Group Reporting Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing intercompany journals and a monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances and interest;
  • Preparing month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Assisting in the preparation of the draft annual statutory accounts for review by the Group Reporting Manager, preparing year-end audit schedules and liaising with external auditors;
  • Monitor spend against provisions, exceptional costs, and finance lease creditors providing budget and forecast input where needed;
  • Review, translation, and posting of monthly submissions from overseas subsidiaries;
  • Support the Management Accounting team with month-end activities, ensuring good communication and mutual support between teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified and immediately available. Strong Financial Reporting skills are essential for this position.

The salary range for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in financial reporting.
