Financial Planning Accountant

Financial Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Accountant to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing the company's monthly management accounts, revising in-year forecasts, and providing ad-hoc reports to directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts in accordance with the Group's accounting timelines
  • Revised in-year forecasts
  • Provide ad-hoc reports to directors
  • Maintain, control, and take ownership of year-end accounts preparation, audit, and annual financial statements
  • Supervise and liaise with the bookkeeper over monthly accounting and bookkeeping routines
  • Involvement in detailed budgeting, particularly with marketing teams and support functions
  • Develop systems, processes, and controls
  • Build and maintain data within spreadsheets and databases
  • Liaise with auditors and other key professionals

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification
  • Detailed knowledge of current accounting standards, including IFRS
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of corporation tax
  • Strong data manipulation skills, advanced user of Excel
  • Experience of accounting systems
  • Proven ability to work to timelines
  • Absolute attention to detail
  • Excellent written English language skills
  • Ability to inform and influence via reports and communication
