We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Service Development Manager to join our KION ITS UK&IR Intralogistics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and growing the sales and service revenues of our Intralogistics Solutions, specifically including Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase sales of our KION range of AGVs and AMRs
- Identify opportunities to expand and extend our business, providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with our National Key Account and New Business Managers to promote and develop the sales of AGVs and AMRs
- Manage tenders from start to completion, ensuring successful outcomes
- Work closely with our Automation Project Engineers to deliver optimized solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, providing expert advice and guidance on automation and intralogistics solutions
- Visit customer sites to develop solutions, create detailed proposals, and present solutions at all levels
- Meet challenging sales targets and deliver strong return on investment calculations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive sales growth
- Proven sales record in sales development, ideally with experience in managing large tenders
- Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
- Understanding of materials handling flows within warehouse operations
- Previous experience of creating and presenting proposals and presentations
- Confident communicator, with excellent IT skills, including intermediate PowerPoint and Excel
- Full driving license
