Job Description:

The position of Managing Director at International Markets is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially savvy and inspirational business leader to spearhead the growth and development of this highly successful organisation. With a strong understanding of company and business finance, coupled with sales and marketing leadership, the appointee will drive the company's ambitious plans for significant organic growth.

Reporting directly to the Board, the successful candidate will be fully accountable for all aspects of the c. £2.5m turnover business, enabling the founding Board members to focus on other Group areas. This includes full profit and loss responsibility, with particular emphasis on developing, setting, and delivering realistic and accurate sales budgets and forecasts in line with the company's growth plans.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree-level qualification or equivalent in a management or analytical discipline, demonstrating a track record of inspirational team leadership, strategic thinking, and strong teamwork. Experienced in leading commercially minded teams, they will also have a proven ability to drive organisational development and deliver revenue and margin growth through new product and service development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the growth and development of International Markets
  • Drive revenue and margin growth through new product and service development
  • Develop, set, and deliver realistic and accurate sales budgets and forecasts
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners

Requirements:

  • degree-level qualification or equivalent in a management or analytical discipline

  • strong financial awareness and excellent communication skills

Salary: circa £80K plus bonus and benefits
