About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team at ERIKS. As a key member of our workshop operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our shop floor, including the inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and repair equipment on the shop floor, including motors and pumps
  • Quote repairs and obtain prices for parts and new units
  • Conduct health and safety checks and monitor work-in-progress
  • Prioritize work for engineers and communicate with customers
  • Perform daily and weekly inspections of machinery, guards, and spray booths
  • Collect emergency parts and maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
