- Problem-Solving: Respond promptly to equipment faults and failures, diagnosing and fixing breakdowns efficiently.
- Equipment Installation: Install new parts and ensure machinery is fully operational.
- Maintenance Management: Manage and control maintenance tools, equipment, and stores.
- Emergency Response: Address emergencies, unplanned problems, and carry out necessary repairs.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and actively contribute to improving standards.
- Specialist Equipment Operation: Operate specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other testing tools.
- Continuous Coverage: Provide continuous cover and support to ensure machinery and equipment are kept running smoothly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualifications: 18th Edition qualification.
- Experience: Experience within a similar role.
- Certifications: IPAF certification.
- Desirable: 2391 Test and Inspection.
Key Details:
- Salary: £42,000 - £46,000.
- Working Hours: 8am - 4:30pm working hours (changes after the first 6 months to night shifts).
