Deputy Manager Opportunity at The Cambian Group

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Residential Manager and staff in delivering high-quality care to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Residential Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
  • Support and manage staff to enable them to meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
  • Manage child protection concerns and complaints.
  • Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
  • Offer supervision and support to senior staff in line with care Quality Standards and Children's Homes Regulations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Working towards or holds a level 5 Diploma leadership and management residential childcare.
  • Current driving license.
  • 1 year's relevant supervisory experience in the care sector.
