Job Title: Assistant Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Shop Manager. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Shop Manager in the day-to-day management of our shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Shop Manager in the management of the shop, including generating donations, display and merchandising, and stock deliveries and collections.
  • Manage and support a loyal and committed team of volunteers, including recruiting, training, motivating, and managing.
  • Assist with record keeping, cash handling, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of retail strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements:
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic individual with a passion for retail and customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and volunteers.
  • Organized and resourceful, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Personable and committed to achieving the highest retail standards.
  • Good communication and customer service skills are essential.

  • A competitive salary of £23,400 pro rata per annum, plus benefits including pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year, up to 8% employer pension contributions, and free access to Headspace.
