Job Title: Assistant Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Shop Manager. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Shop Manager in the day-to-day management of our shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Shop Manager in the day-to-day management of the shop
  • Generate donations and manage stock deliveries and collections
  • Display and merchandising, record keeping, and cash handling
  • Recruit, train, motivate, manage, and support a loyal and committed team of volunteers
Requirements:
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and customer orientation
  • Organised and resourceful with a personable and hands-on approach
  • Good communication and customer service skills are essential
  • An affinity with the work that Woodgreen does and a desire to increase public awareness and donor engagement of the Charity's mission
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £23,400 pro rata per annum
  • Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five years
