About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Practitioner to join our team at Mariposa & Papillon Care. As a Senior Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, providing support and guidance to our care team, and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional standards of care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Support and supervise our care team, providing guidance and training to ensure they have the skills and confidence to provide high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with our residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of strategies to enhance the quality of care.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive approach to care.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or working towards it.
  • Experience in a care setting, with a strong understanding of adult care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
