Strategic Leader in Investor Development and Early Career Investment

Investor Development and Early Career Investment Leadership Role
Capital Group is seeking a strategic leader to build out holistic learning and development for investment professionals throughout their lifecycle, from new analysts to seasoned portfolio managers. This role will lead efforts to identify and nurture investment talent, raise the firm's profile in the early career recruiting market, and oversee the Capital Associates Program, a premier early career investment training program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a learning and development strategic plan for the full lifecycle of an investor.
- Provide leadership for the Capital Associates Program, utilizing best practices in early career and investor development.
- Identify, prioritize, and evaluate key learning and development initiatives for investors at Capital.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of current learning and development programs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Manage a team, including associates rotating through the early career program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive talent development experience.
- Early career program management experience.
- Minimum 5 years in the financial services industry, preferably with direct investor/research experience.
- Experience developing a learning and development strategy, influencing investors and leaders, and executing for measurable results.

- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute work across broad, diverse stakeholders.
- Effective communication with a diverse group of associates and senior business leaders to influence strategy.
- Leadership by example, modeling inclusive behavior that inspires and influences leaders across Capital to adopt and champion DE&I programs and initiatives.
Compensation:
Base Salary Range: $217,648-$370,002 (Southern California), $239,993-$407,988 (San Francisco), $230,736-$392,251 (New York).
