Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Emergency Response Officer. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient provision of emergency and urgent personal care welfare visits to residents in South Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, assess, and implement emergency personal care packages for new and existing service users, promoting independence and delivering a high standard of personalised care.
  • Coordinate an immediate response to Telecare and Carers emergencies, utilising your specialist knowledge, skills, and experience to react to complex situations.
  • Assess service users with complex needs in emergency situations out of hours and compile and implement short-term care packages to be reviewed by the appropriate daytime services.
  • Ensure that all responders in your team have a Care Certificate where necessary and that all are up to date with supervisions, team meetings, and training.
Requirements
  • A professional qualification in Health and Social Care to Diploma (level 5) or degree level.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Knowledge of the processes and procedures of an emergency response team is preferred.
