About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Emergency Response Team as an Emergency Response Team Member. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient provision of emergency and urgent personal care welfare visits to residents in South Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, assess, and implement emergency personal care packages for new and existing service users, promoting independence and delivering a high standard of personalised care.
- Coordinate an immediate response to Telecare and Carers emergencies, utilising your specialist knowledge, skills, and experience to react to complex situations.
- Assess service users with complex needs in emergency situations out of hours, compiling and implementing short-term care packages to be reviewed by the appropriate daytime services.
- Ensure that all responders in your team have a Care Certificate where necessary and that all are up to date with supervisions, team meetings, and training.
Requirements
- A professional qualification in Health and Social Care to Diploma (level 5) or degree level.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Knowledge of the processes and procedures of an emergency response team is preferred.
