Lead Rural Surveyor Opportunity
We are seeking a Lead Rural Surveyor for a prominent consultancy specializing in rural land management. This position involves collaborating with a diverse clientele on rural estates, providing expert guidance on both immediate and long-term estate administration and rural professional issues. The compensation package is competitive and based on experience, including a bonus structure, vehicle allowance, life insurance, hybrid work options, and 27 days of annual leave.
With a robust presence across the country, our client has established a solid reputation in both residential and commercial markets, delivering a wide array of services such as property management, land development, surveying, and agency work. Candidates must hold MRICS accreditation and possess substantial experience in rural estate management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily client interactions with rural estate proprietors, tenants, and occupants.
- Facilitate landlord-tenant relationships across agricultural, commercial, and residential properties.
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting and performance reporting.
- Lead project management initiatives for client development projects.
- Supervise and coordinate estate personnel as necessary.
- Provide advice on general rural professional matters.
- Consult with clients regarding valuation and both long-term and short-term estate management strategies.
- Deliver clear, practical, and well-reasoned advice to clients consistently.
Qualifications & Experience
- MRICS certification is required.
- A degree in a RICS accredited program is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in rural consultancy is preferred.
- Strong networking capabilities are crucial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
- A valid UK driving license and personal vehicle are required.
- Experience in rural planning and development is advantageous.
- Background in rural estate project management is a plus.
- RICS Registered Valuer status is preferred.
