Lead Rural Surveyor Associate Position
We are seeking a Lead Rural Surveyor Associate for a prominent consultancy specializing in rural land management. This role involves collaborating with various clients on rural estates, providing expert guidance on both long-term and short-term estate management as well as rural professional issues. The compensation package is competitive and commensurate with experience, including a bonus structure, vehicle allowance, life insurance, hybrid work options, and 27 days of annual leave.
With a network of 60 offices across the country, our client boasts a well-established reputation in both residential and commercial sectors, delivering a wide array of services such as property management, land development, surveying, and agency work. To qualify, candidates must hold MRICS chartership and possess substantial experience in rural estate management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily client interactions with rural estate proprietors, tenants, and occupants.
- Manage relationships between landlords and tenants across agricultural, commercial, and residential properties.
- Handle financial aspects, including budgeting and performance reporting.
- Lead project management initiatives for client development projects.
- Supervise and coordinate estate staff as necessary.
- Provide advice and management on general rural professional issues.
- Consult with clients regarding valuation and both long-term and short-term estate management strategies.
- Deliver clear, practical, and well-reasoned advice to clients consistently.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- MRICS qualification.
- Degree-level education with a RICS accredited qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in rural consultancy.
- Strong networking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Experience in rural planning and development is advantageous.
- Experience in managing rural estate projects is a plus.
- RICS Registered Valuer status is preferred.
