Lead Rural Surveyor Associate Position
Join a prominent rural land management consultancy as a Lead Rural Surveyor Associate. This role involves collaborating with a diverse clientele on rural estates, providing expert guidance on both long-term and short-term estate management as well as rural professional issues. The compensation package is competitive and commensurate with experience, including a bonus structure, vehicle allowance, life insurance, hybrid work options, and 27 days of annual leave.
With a network of 60 offices across the country, the firm boasts a strong reputation in both residential and commercial sectors, delivering a wide array of services such as property management, land development, surveying, and agency. Candidates must hold a chartered MRICS designation and possess experience in rural estate management to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily client interactions with rural estate proprietors, tenants, and occupiers.
- Manage relationships between landlords and tenants for agricultural, commercial, and residential properties.
- Handle financial matters, including budgeting and performance reporting.
- Lead project management efforts for client development initiatives.
- Supervise and coordinate estate personnel as necessary.
- Provide advice on general rural professional matters.
- Guide clients on valuation and both long-term and short-term estate management strategies.
- Deliver clear, practical, and well-reasoned advice to clients consistently.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered MRICS status.
- Degree-level education with a RICS accredited qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in rural consultancy.
- Strong networking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Experience in rural planning and development is preferred.
- Background in rural estate project management is advantageous.
- RICS Registered Valuer status is desirable.
