About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our Haematology department at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing patient-centred clinical care, working autonomously to diagnose and treat patients with haematological disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of patients with haematological malignancies and general haematology
  • Participate in weekly outpatient clinics and offer support to day case units for patient reviews and prescribing chemotherapy
  • Contribute to the integrated Haemato-oncology Clinical MDT, monthly quality meetings, weekly educational sessions, and mortality and morbidity meetings
  • Ensure high standards of documentation are maintained, with accurate, complete, and up-to-date information regarding patient care
