Revenues Advisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Revenues Advisor to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. As a key member, you will be responsible for administering Council Tax and responding to all enquiries in line with legislation and council policy.
About the Role:
- Determine the correct liable party for Council Tax, Business Rates, and BID levy to ensure compliance with legislation and council policy.
- Provide expert advice on Council Tax and Business Rates to customers and external partners.
- Assist in reviewing discounts, reliefs, or exemptions to maximize revenue due to the council and identify and reduce incidences of fraud.
- Support the Court Officer/Team Manager in attending magistrates court liability order and other committal hearings.
- Prioritize at least 3 years' experience within a revenues team (preferably billing).
- Ability to administer Council Tax and respond to all enquiries in line with legislation and council policy.
- Capacity to negotiate payment plans on Council Tax debt.

Requirements:
