We are seeking a skilled Electricity Grid Specialist to join our HVDC Project Engineering team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our Offshore Project Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence and delivering complex cable projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HV/EHV cable engineering, with experience working on EPC contracts and CDM regulations. You will be responsible for informing the HVDC cable system requirements for EPC Contracts, supporting the tender review process, and coordinating and supporting the installation and commissioning works.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art AC and DC cable system technology, traversing marine and terrestrial environments across the UK. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inform the HVDC cable system requirements for EPC Contracts and supporting the tender review process.
  • Coordinate and support the installation and commissioning works for compliance with the Employer's requirements, legislation, and health & safety.
  • Technical leadership, mentorship, and driving excellence within the HVDC Project Engineering team.
