Job Title: Lead Manager, Energy System Modelling
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our energy system modelling team. As a key member of our Business Planning and Commercial directorate, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the GB energy system model to provide strategic planning input into our network plan.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of specialists to develop and implement energy system models.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and share insights on energy technologies and industry developments.
- Develop and maintain a GB energy system model that supports our business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise on energy system modelling to support our business planning and commercial activities.
- Maintain accurate records of energy system model development and implementation.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of energy technologies and energy system models.
- Experience in energy system modelling and analysis.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Benefits
- An estimated salary range of £62,500 - £92,000 per annum + performance-related bonus.
