Subsea Oil and Gas Directory is a leading provider of subsea oil and gas services. We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients and are seeking a talented Ship Structures Specialist to join our team.

The estimated salary for this role is £75,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Ship Structures Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of design, fabrication, and installation of new fixed offshore steel structures for Greenfield oil & gas development projects, structure modification work for Brownfield projects, and the integrity of existing fixed offshore steel structures.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining Structural Inspection Strategies and developing detailed inspection work scopes/work packs for topside and subsea.
  • Ensuring the integrity of design, fabrication, and installation of new fixed offshore steel structures.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with marine engineering, covering basic propulsion systems, cargo transfer systems, and outfit equipment.
  • Knowledge of marine project engineering (design), ship structures and structural analysis, rules, regulations, and standards covering the design, operation, inspection, and maintenance of ship types and offshore structures.
  • Project management skills, including construction supervision and site management.
