Main Responsibilities

  • To ensure the smooth operation of the care home, managing all aspects of its efficient running and maintaining compliance with CQC regulatory requirements, Fundamental Standards, and other applicable legislation.
  • To assess, plan, and provide for the needs of residents through the care planning system, ensuring all staff work towards the agreed care plan.
  • Deliver high-quality support to residents, ensuring each service is safe, effective, caring, and responsive to their needs.
  • Manage and monitor staff, ensuring effective resource utilization to provide good quality, safe, and effective services.
  • To ensure all statutory, regulatory, and company policy requirements are monitored, communicated, managed, and achieved.
  • To ensure the assessment process of new residents is carried out promptly and effectively, by appropriate team members, ensuring the effective completion of their placement and transition, and required liaison with all relevant stakeholders.
  • To ensure effective communication within the organization and between the organization and all other stakeholders.
  • To ensure all safeguarding procedures are in place and followed.
