Job Description:
East Suffolk Council is looking for an Arrears Management Professional to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective collection and recovery of housing related income. This will involve working closely with customers, Housing Officers, and other Council departments to ensure a consistent approach to tenancy sustainment and enforcement whilst minimizing financial loss.

Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of this role include demonstrating a proactive and consistent approach to income recovery in line with ESC arrears policies and procedures, working with Housing Officers, the Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, and other Council departments, and being able to work from our Lowestoft office, Riverside at least one day per week.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience of working in a housing environment, knowledge and understanding of Housing Law, Housing Benefit Regulations, and Welfare Rights, and being mobile with access to a car to attend business meetings at other sites within the district on a regular basis.
