**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations Apprentice program at AWE, a renowned company in the UK. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing, science, and engineering while working in a dynamic and challenging environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assemble components and work in various placements around our business, including the AWE's Skills Academy
  • Gain hands-on experience and office-based knowledge of processes and procedures
  • Develop your skills in problem-solving, manufacturing principles, and real-life scenarios

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • A strong foundation in maths and English, with five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above (Science desirable)
  • Age 16 or over, as of August 2025, due to security clearance requirements
  • British Nationality required
  • Practical aptitude for engineering & technology, attention to detail, and excellent team working skills
  • Good communication skills, awareness of health & safety, and ability to follow instructions

**Salary and Benefits:**

  • A starting salary of £16,750 per year, increasing annually throughout your apprenticeship
