**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for our Operations Apprentice role at AWE, a leading company in the UK. As an Operations Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing, science, and engineering while working in a diverse and unique environment.

**About the Role:**

This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in operations, where you will work closely with industry experts and become part of a community at one of the most unique companies in the UK. You will be involved in various placements around our business, including the AWE's Skills Academy, where you will gain hands-on experience assembling components and office-based knowledge of processes and procedures.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver hands-on production and process operations in a highly regulated and safety-conscious working environment
  • Work in a variety of placements around our business, including manufacturing, science, and engineering
  • Develop your skills in problem-solving, manufacturing principles, and real-life scenarios

**Requirements:**

  • A practical aptitude for engineering & technology
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Awareness of health & safety
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Passionate and motivated individual
  • Five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English (Science desirable)
  • Applicants must be aged 16 or over, as of August 2025 due to security clearance requirements
  • You must be a British National to apply for a role with us
